There is no one "right" way to create a successful business. Follow the advice of Frank Sinatra and do it your own way.
You don't have to do everything and you certainly don't have to do it all at once. Whether it's social media profiles or marketing techniques, you don't have to do it all. In fact, it's often better not to do it all.
Just because something works for someone else doesn't mean it is right for your business. Following what someone else doesn't mean you'll get the same results. (Read number one again.)
Just because others "look" like they have it all together doesn't mean they really do, don't allow yourself to be fooled into thinking "they" are better than you.
Most likely, your fear of success is going to be one of your biggest challenges to overcome. BUT you'll think it's your fear of failure. It's not, I promise.
If you're not tracking your income and expenses -- there is a reason you're not. Discover that reason and it will solve a lot of problems you don't realize are tied to tracking money.
It is HUGELY important to know what you want to gain from owning your own business. If you're not sure, you will end up doing things based on what others tell you to do and build a business you don't like working in.
Be sure you know what defines success for you or you will be quickly influenced by other people's perceptions of success.
Stay aware: you could be building a business that becomes a job instead of a joy.
